It's been a bit quiet on my profile over the last few weeks. At the beginning of the year, my clients have their year-end closing and it is very stressful and I will also be moving into a new apartment in a few weeks - around easter.

So if I don't always respond to your support immediately, it has nothing to do with you - rather that I would write to everyone, but DA declares it as spam.

DA has developed into an AI monster, which I unfortunately had to realize, and that has nothing to do with creating art. I had hoped that other new features might be added. Because the portal needs it!

But apart from raising the prices, unfortunately nothing has happened.

I would like to give you a little overview of the Comic Shards, that I announced at the beginning of the year. The development remains "on hiatus". Unfortunately, I had to realize that I don't have the number of settings for a dystopian story. However, I do have many settings for a medieval / fantasy story.

This gave rise to the following idea: A fan fiction story about Disney Gargoyles. The story will be detached from the plot of the animated series and will be set in the Middle Ages. Maybe one or the other child of Avalon will appear.

BUT it's all still in EARLY STAGE. I'm currently trying to visualize the characters. And I need your help with that. Fortunately, the mother series allowed for different types of gargoyles, so I'm not dependent on one particular shape.

However, I'm totally failing here.

My runtime contains Succubus for G8 and Blutstone / Hartstone for G9. Both products on Daz3d.

But I can't get an individual shape so that it looks like a gargoyle with human features and can be duplicated in the same way for the rest of the clan. Since they are stone during the day, I will work with stone shaders here. Unfortunately, there is no longer a Creature Creator for G8 / G9, as used to be the case with G3 and later. I'm at a bit of a loss.

I hope you know what I mean.

Do you have any ideas? Especially when it comes to shapes and clothing?

I'm really looking forward to your opinion.

I wish you all the best for your birthday Good health and success in the next year of your life. We got to know each other many years ago (certainly 18/19 years ago). At that time we were still writing fanfiction series and I had created a platform for this - a virtual channel. At least we wrote together on an original Roman "Evolution". For a few years you had drawn me to rendering - to the dark force. Oh man, we (especially me) put a lot of money into certain 3D-content. But it's something that's still a lot of fun.

Even though we have never met, we have been in contact for many years and often talk about very private things and concerns.

I look forward to having you by my side for many more years as a good and loyal friend.

Some Artworks from you

After a long break this year due to illness and work, I have found my creativity again. Fall and winter are the seasons when I enjoy being creative the most. My plan is to get back into character design and especially the postwork of Affinity Photo.

But my plan is also to get more involved in the group as an admin and maybe start a competition or two with @Lexana.

Another plan is to continue the pre-production of my comic (in DAZ3D) and show you the first results next year.

But I also want to familiarize myself more and more with content creation for the DAZ generations. I'm not sure yet whether it's better to specialize in something - e.g. hair, characters, probs...?!

I'm slowly starting here again and look forward to you and the lively conversations like years ago.

Which DAZ Character do you prefer to use in renderings?

I've been active on DA again for a few hours and feel right at home. What is really a pity is that it is quieter than the years before. What I also miss is the fact that DA offers just a few functions for creating deviations pages - eg. Galleries on a deviation page. That's a bit sad and hopefully DA will release such features in the future.

I have been thinking about the future of VectFox though.

Freebies

I have thought about it for a long time and now I will offer my old Genesis (1 generation) products, which were sold via Renderosity at that time, here as a freebie to you.

There are already some online - e.g. the character sets Jensen and Val.

I don't want to set any rules, but I think it's nice to do the following - to reward the creator's effort:

Future

I'm going to start rendering again from scratch, work out my deficits and learn new things so that my artwork gets better and better.

I have some ideas what I would like to create. But do not want to take away so much now -- a hint: It's about a game, DAZ Studio and fantasy.

Also the "Goodies" section will be more and more populated and newer stuff will be available as "Premium Download" for few points.

I am very much looking forward to what the future may bring. What innovations DA has in store for us and also what hurdles I will face.
